Equipment Management
AFPOD provides full capability of managing tools and equipment used by the factory, office, service, etc.
Functions of this section are:
- Equipment details. Equipment number, Name, Purchase Date, Supplier, Picture, etc. are all recorded into the system.

- Maintenance schedule. With this section equipment maintenance can be scheduled. The system also alerts users when a maintenance action is due and recommends the best maintenance time considering production usage.

- Critical parts. With this function critical parts that are required for emergency repairs are identified. The system also manages the inventory of these parts and the re-ordering process.

- Standard Tasks. In this section step-by-step process of standard tasks is documented. Information about service agencies and their contacts are recorded and the best agency that can perform the tasks is nominated.

- Asset management. The system keeps record of repairs and maintenance costs. Should this cost increase beyond expectation or budget, alerts are generated. This is time when a replacement may be a viable option.
