Suppliers’ details are held in AFPOD along with records of their performance. Suppliers’ performance is evaluated based on their delivery and reject rates. AFPOD updates this evaluation in a score chart regularly.
In AFPOD for every Product or Part, up to five suppliers can be identified and a preferred supplier can be nominated. The preferred supplier nomination could be based on the ranking provided by the system.
